Donta Davis
Donta D. Davis was born in Jonesville, Louisiana and was raised in a single parent home as the youngest of 12 siblings. Donta moved from Louisiana at the age of 11 and set sail to Dallas, Texas where he currently lives and has been residing with his family for the past 30 years. Donta came to Christ in his early 30's and since then, has testified about the goodness of God’s power in a world of uncertainty.
Donta is currently serving under senior pastor, Pastor Hal Johnson, at Christian Stronghold Church in Dallas and obtained his license as Minister. Throughout the years, Donta has served in the Children’s Youth Ministry and Men's Ministry for over 20 years. Donta has ventured out in other areas of ministry finding fulfillment in the media department in his local church and has been armor bearer as well.
Donta strifes to live a life of servanthood daily and has enjoyed every season of ministry God has called him to complete. Donta is married to his childhood friend, Lindsey Davis, and is a father of six children, believing children should have a strong foundation in the Lord. Donta's favorite saying is, “Never forget where God has brought you from because the moment you do, it's in that same moment that you forget the whole purpose of the distance that God has brought you in life, always be a testimony."
